Mrs. Michele Ollis
Welcome to Kindergarten!
Hello! My name is Michele Ollis and I will be your child's Kindergarten teacher! The following is a little information about me!
I attended Penn State University, Widener University, Immaculata University, West Chester University, and Cabrini University. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Widener University. I earned my master’s degree from Cabrini University. I earned a Special Education certification from Immaculata University. I have been a Daycare Director, taught for five years in a private daycare kindergarten, substituted in the Unionville Chadds Ford School District, was an aide in the Wallingford Swarthmore School District, taught in the Avon Grove School District for five years as a primary learning support teacher for kindergarten through second grade, and have been in the Coatesville Area School District since 2010. I have been with my King's Highway family for eleven years. Three years in first grade, the rest of my time in kindergarten.
I am married to my wonderful husband Rodger and we have four children, two boys and two girls. We are active community members and often volunteer at many events and organizations within the Coatesville Community. We enjoy spending time with our children, warm weather, going to the beach, and visiting Savannah, Georgia whenever we can!
I have always wanted to be a teacher. I am blessed to work with and learn from my talented colleagues. I am thankful that I get to teach students who are eager to learn and have so much energy and enthusiasm every day. I am fortunate that I have wonderful parents who work with me to help their children to be successful in school. It truly takes a village to raise a child to become lifelong learners, caring individuals, and positive contributors to society.
I look forward to meeting your child and having a fun-filled school year of learning!!
With Warm Regards,
Michele Ollis
