Hello Second Grade Families!  

My name is April Lammey.  I am a second grade teacher at Rainbow Elementary.  I have been teaching in the Coatesville Area School District for 10+ years.  I have taught fifth grade, but have spent most of my years teaching second grade.  I graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Elementary Education.  I continued on to achieve my Masters and Reading Specialist Degrees through Cabrini University.  I have been trained in Responsive Classroom, and have recently been trained in Lucy Calkin's Units of Study, both of which I am very passionate about.  

I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, working outside, and reading! 

My goal is to make sure EVERY child feels safe, enjoys learning, and grows this year!  I love to learn and want to instill that love in your child.
