Hello,
My name is Mrs. Erin Rebhorn.
I was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania when I was six years old. I grew up in West Chester with my parents, both educators, and my older sister.
I graduated from West Chester University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Later I attended Western Maryland College and earned my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I started my teaching career in Harford County, Maryland where I taught fifth grade for five years. During my tenure in Maryland, I was selected to work with the Maryland State Department of Education where we wrote curriculum for struggling readers.
My husband, Michael, and I decided to move back to Chester County and I was hired by Coatesville Area School District as an Instructional Support Teacher. Later, I had the opportunity to return to the classroom and have taught fifth grade for the past eight years.
I am very proud to be a part of the Rainbow Elementary School family! With over 18 years of teaching experience, I have watched many of my students grow up to be very successful adults. I am looking forward to helping your child reach their dreams.
