Mr. Chenger has been with the Coatesville Area School District since 2006 and in education for over 24 years. He came to the Coatesville Area School District in 2006 and served as the Athletic Director/Assistant Principal (Dean of Student Affairs) for three years, then as an Assistant Principal for three years before becoming Principal in 2012. He transitioned into the Director of Athletics, Activities, and Compliance for the district in grades K-12 in March of 2020, and into the role as Principal of the Coatesville Area Senior High School in August of 2023.

Mr. Chenger has a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from West Chester University and a M. Ed. in Educational Leadership and K-12 Principal Certification from The Pennsylvania State University. He is also a Registered Athletic Administrator through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association (NIAAA). In addition to serving the CASD, he has also served as a PIAA appointed contest manager for 50+ PIAA and District One playoff games including several PIAA State Semi-Final Championship games in basketball and football - as recent as the 2021-2022 school year for both sports.  Prior to coming to Coatesville in 2006 he served as the Varsity Baseball Coach, on the Basketball Staff, and Game Manager/Worker at a neighboring school district.

Mr. Chenger is married and resides in the Coatesville Area School District and has two children who currently attend school at one of our district's elementary school and one of the middle schools.  He also currently volunteers within the community through the Caln Little League of the Coatesville Area and is the past Vice-President of one of the Little League Baseball Divisions as well as through local basketball and flag football youth organizations. Mr. Chenger is also serving a three-year term as a board member for the Coatesville Area School District Education Foundation and the Western Chestern County Chamber of Commerce. He is also on the Regional Planning and Scholarship Committees of the WCCCC.
