Mr. Jeff Kuciapinski
Dear Rainbow Families,
It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the new Assistant Principal of Rainbow Elementary School. I am truly honored to accept this new role. I look forward to joining the Rainbow family and supporting Mrs. Stauffer in continuing to grow this amazing school community. I know I am joining a strong school culture synonymous with excellence, dedication and collaboration. It is my goal to enhance these characteristics through the collective knowledge and creativity of our students, staff, and families.
For the past three years, I have been a Special Education Supervisor in the Coatesville Area School District working across a multitude of grades and in many different facets. Before that, I spent 17 years as an elementary school special education teacher where I worked with students in grades K-5, as well as coordinated the Extended School Year Program. I have studied the workings of Administration and developed my leadership skills at Cabrini University. My academic background also includes a Masters of Education in Special Education from St. Joseph's University and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Slipp[ery Rock University.
My decision to become an administrator came from my desire to make a positive impact on an entire school community. As the Assistant Principal, i will work diligently with Mrs. Stauffer, our faculty and staff, and the community to carry out the vision and mission of Rainbow Elementary School. This role will provide me with the chance to work collaboratively with teachers daily, while also remaining connected to our students' growth and learning what takes place in the classroom. Diversity and inclusion are pillars of my personal educational mantra. I am committed to continuing professional growth and ensuring educational equity and success for all our students.
The partnership between home and school should inspire confidence in students to use their powers to shape their future and the future of our community and world. During the year, it is my hope that we will work together to provide our students the best opportunities. As Assistant Principal, my door is always open, and I welcome your conversation and collaboration throughout this year. I look forward to celebrating our collective successes during the 2022-2023 school year.
Warm Regards,
Jeffrey P. Kuciapinski
