Fourth Grade Lesson Cycle 4
Let's learn some more about Bach. Remember he was born 300 years ago!
1. Watch this biography on J.S. Bach:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcNeEUmqi5Y
2. Once again let's listen to some examples of Bach’s music.
This is Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3. This is the first movement/Allegro, (that means fast!)
He wrote 6 Brandenburg Concerti.

* This is an awesome piece! I am thinking of all the string students!!!!

3. Here is a famous piece with a choir. It is called
"Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring"

***Let me know what piece by Bach you liked the best. fordc@casdschools.org ***
Here is a Google Doodle you can try. Compose you own short song and make it sound like Bach.
